Delegation of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman visited BJTU

On October 29, a delegation from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman headed by the Director of Division of Community and International Networking Lai Soon Onn visit BJTU. Dean of the College of International Education LIU Yanqing and staffs from College of International Education and Office of International Affairs attend the meeting.
Malaysia was an important country along the “Belt and Road,” and BJTU had maintained good cooperation with universities and enterprises from Malaysia in many aspects. BJTU will continue to work closely with UTAR to promote joint education programs, student and faculty exchanges, and collaborative research.
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, (abbreviated UTAR; Simplified Chinese: 拉曼大学), is a non-profit, private university in Malaysia known for graduating several notable alumni in the Malaysian Chinese community. The institution was established in June 2002 through the UTAR Education Foundation, a non-for-profit organization. It is ranked top 100 in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2018 and top 600 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020, placing it 2nd in Malaysia only after University of Malaya. It offers more than 110 programs, including foundation, undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree programs.
