Tangshan Campus, is located at the center of Tangshan City, which is part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Zone.

II. Admission Assessment

Applicants need to apply and submit complete application documents. BJTU will assess the applicants’ qualification by reviewing application documents and other supporting methods.

III. Date of Application

Self-funded programs:From January 1^st to June 30^th, 2021

CSC scholarship programs : Before  May 5^th, 2021

BJTU will announce the new deadline if there are any changes

IV. Eligibility

1. Non-Chinese citizen in good health.

Note: Applicants of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan who have immigrated to other countries should meet the criteria published by the “Ministry of Education of the PRC".

2. Language Proficiency Requirements

2.1 For programs taught in Chinese, applicants should at least meet one of the following criteria:

a) An HSK 5 certification with a total score over 180 within 2 years.

b) Prior study experiences (within 5 years) in the medium of Chinese and obtained a certification.

c) The language requirement for scholarship programs may be different and applicants shall refer to the corresponding information of each individual scholarship program.

2.2 For programs taught in English, applicants should at least meet one of the following criteria:

d) IELTS 6.0 and above or TOEFL 80 and above within two years after the test date.

e) Prior study experiences (within 5 years) in the medium of English and obtained a certification.

f) The language requirement for scholarship programs may be different and applicants shall refer to the corresponding scholarship programs for detailed information.

3. Academic Requirements

Be a high school graduate when applying for the undergraduate programs;

Be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for the master’s programs;

Be a master’s degree holder when applying for the doctoral programs;

V. Application Procedures

Step 1: Register at BJTU International Student Service System (http://bjtu.17gz.org).

Step 2: Choose the study program, submit all the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 3: Keep in touch with the BJTU, pay attention to the application feedback and wait for the result.

• Two Recommendation Letters With Signature and Contact Details of The Referral (Required for Master’s and PhD Programs Applicants)

• BJTU Acceptance Letter (Optional for Master’s and PhD Programs Applicants)

• Language Proficiency Certificates

• Physical Examination Form (within 6 months of application date)

• Certificate of No Criminal Record

• Bank Statement of the Latest 1 Month (With A Balance over 10,000 Dollars)

• Power of Attorney of Guardian（Under 18-year-old applicants）
